Key Responsibilities
Safety, Compliance & Quality
Safety Leadership: Demonstrate a 100% commitment to the safety of our people, customers, and the environment.
Advocacy: Actively promote proactive safety behaviors and "safety leadership" across all operations.
Standards: Provide direction to the team to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality work practices.
Site Pride: Maintain a Distribution Center (DC) that is safe, presentable, and clean at all times.
People Management
Leadership: Supervise warehouse personnel and manage labor requirements in line with business specifications.
Development: Facilitate timely inductions and ensure all staff are trained on Company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Performance: Work collaboratively with management to communicate KPIs and drive a culture of high performance and accountability.
Warehouse Operations
Execution: Oversee all functions including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch to exceed client specifications.
Security: Ensure the security of client goods and prevent loss within the facility.
Documentation: Maintain accurate client-related work instructions and ensure DG (Dangerous Goods) licensing requirements are met.
Administration & Continuous Improvement
Reporting: Complete accurate reports on time and identify any loss-making activities.
Optimization: Constantly review current processes to improve efficiencies and streamline administration.
Quality Control: Implement and maintain robust quality control techniques and procedures.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a Warehouse Supervisory or Team Lead role.
- Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and safety compliance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- A "continuous improvement" mindset—always looking for a better way to do things.
- Competency in warehouse management systems and administrative reporting.
