Adecco has an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Workshop Technician based in Welshpool

About Us

Our client who is Australia's largest providers for Forklift & Access Equipment is seeking a qualified Workshop Technician to join their team

This is a Permanent position

Monday to Friday 38/40hrs pwk with potential O/Time

$48/$52 hr dependent on experience

Welshpool location

Responsibilities

Your Responsbilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, major services, overhauls and repairs across a diverse range of equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults using technical documentation, schemetics and diagnostic tools
  • Undertake component repairs and replacements, including hydraulic systems, engines, electrical systems and structural elements
  • Complete pre delivery inspections
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and conduct final inspections and functional testing prior to equipment release
  • Identify and report recurring defects, reliability trends or improvement opportunities to management
  • Provide temporary assistance to Road Service Technicians during peak workloads
  • Maintain competency to operate safely in both workshop and controlled site environments when directed
  • Comply with all Company OHS&E policies, Safe Work Procedures and legislative requirements
  • Contribute to safey meetings
  • Provide technical guidance or mentoring to apprentices and junior technicians as required
  • Represent the Company professionally in all internal and external interactions

Your Profile

What you need:

  • Current DL own transport
  • Relevant Trade Qualification ( or verified competency)
  • Demonstrated experience in maintenance and repair of forklifts, access equipment or similar plant (desirable)
  • 'Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical diagnostic capability
  • High attention to detail and workmanship quality
  • Ability to intpret technical documentation and schematics
  • Demonstrated ability to work independantly and within a team environment
  • Full working rights in Australia
