Are you passionate about food, enjoy working as part of a friendly team, and love the buzz of a school environment? Redeemer Lutheran College is seeking Casual Tuckshop Assistants to support the daily operation of our vibrant school tuckshop.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys preparing and serving nutritious food, values cleanliness and organisation, and takes pride in contributing to a positive experience for students and staff.

About the Role

Working closely with the Tuckshop Manager, you will assist with the smooth day-to-day running of the tuckshop, supporting breakfast, morning tea and lunch services. Your role will be varied and hands-on, with a strong focus on food safety, teamwork and customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with food preparation, cooking and service
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safe food handling
• Cleaning and maintaining tuckshop equipment and work areas
• Checking deliveries and storing food correctly
• Supporting operations during the Tuckshop Manager’s absence when required
• Building positive relationships with staff, students and volunteer helpers

About You

You’re someone who:

• Enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Takes pride in preparing and serving healthy, nutritious food
• Understands (or is willing to learn) food hygiene and safety practices
• Is reliable, organised and proactive
• Communicates well and contributes positively to a team culture
• Is aligned with and supportive of the Christian values and ethos of the College

Previous experience in food service, hospitality or school tuckshops is an advantage.
