About the opportunity 

Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic blue trucks to deliver for customers? As our unrestricted Medium Rigid Truck Driver or C Class Van Driver, you’ll be the face of our trusted East Arm based StarTrack business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that! 

We are looking for two Drivers - C Class is fine! These opportunities works Mon-Fri and pays $33.33/hr + 12% super and overtime rates. Also included is leave loading on accrued annual leave taken.

You’ll be

• Safely loading your truck with freight for your deliveries with teammates at the facility. 
• Completing your own daily vehicle safety check.  
• Driving our modern trucks between our East Arm based facility and our customers, for deliveries and pick-ups.  
• Returning to the East Arm StarTrack facility to unload pick-ups and complete end of day tasks

About you   

You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community. 

You’ll also need to 

• Hold a relevant unrestricted medium rigid or C Class vehicle license.  
• Be fit enough to load and unload freight items of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck up to 30kg
• Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility. 
• Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills. 
• Meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less.
• Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a driving assessment, pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and nationally coordinated criminal history checks.
