THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity is available for a Truck Delivery Driver to join the team at Hallett Groups Building Supplies reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager – Building Materials. You will deliver a wide range of building products to customers in metro Adelaide & regional SA. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for manually unloading products from the vehicle and delivering them directly to customer sites. You’ll bring a safe driving history, experience operating manual vehicles, and strong time management and communication skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Strong commitment to safety, health & environmental responsibility
  • Complete daily pre start checks
  • Load restraining freight onboard vehicle
  • Hand unloading of products from vehicle onto building site.
  • Basic housekeeping of vehicle

QUALIFICATIONS | EXPERIENCE | CAPABILITIES

  • Valid driver’s license – MR as a minimum
  • Manual driving experience (Minimum 2 years)
  • High Risk Forklift license (desired)
  • Strong commitment to safety, health & environmental responsibility
  • Complete daily pre start checks
  • Load restraining freight onboard vehicle
  • Hand unloading of products from vehicle onto building site.
  • Basic housekeeping of vehicle
  • Safe driving history
  • Experience operating manual vehicles
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license – MR as a minimum
  • Manual driving experience (Minimum 2 years)
  • High Risk Forklift license (desired)
