About the Role:

PROTECH are currently seeking Trade Assistants and Paint & Blast Labourers to join a busy process driven workshop. These are hands-on roles suited to reliable, fit and experienced candidates looking for consistent work with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Trade Assistant Key Responsibilities

• Production TA duties such as- Welding, Forklift operation, Pressure cleaning, Assisting Tradesman where required
• Operating tools and workshop equipment
• Supporting fabrication, maintenance, and general workshop duties
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area

Trade Assistant Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ workshop experience (essential)
• Valid forklift licence (mandatory)
• Ability to work days or Afternoon shift
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Commitment to workplace health & safety with great eye for detail

Paint & Blast Labourer Key Responsibilities

• Surface preparation and abrasive blasting
• Assisting with industrial painting tasks
• Handling materials and supporting workshop operations with an eye for detail
• Maintaining equipment and ensuring safety compliance

Paint & Blast Labourer Requirements

• Valid forklift licence (mandatory)
• Abrasive blasting experience highly regarded
• Ability to work Afternoon shift
• Previous experience in painting/blasting or similar environments (preferred)
• Physically fit and capable of manual tasks
• Strong attention to detail and safety
