About the Netball World Cup Sydney 2027

Brace Yourself for an unforgettable opportunity to be part of the world’s premier netball event. In 2027, Sydney will host the Netball World Cup, uniting 16 of the top international teams for 12 days of elite competition and global celebration. As we mark Netball Australia’s centenary, we are building a tournament that champions inclusion, empowerment, and innovation—on and off the court.

We are looking for passionate, purpose-driven people to help bring this vision to life. As part of the Local Organising Committee, you will join a collaborative team focused on delivering operational excellence, engaging fans, creating legacy, and making memories that will stay with you for a lifetime.

About the Role

Reporting to the Ticketing & Hospitality Manager, this role is responsible for the planning, delivery and optimisation of:

  • Ticketing strategy and operations
  • Corporate hospitality and premium experiences
  • Official fan travel programs
  • VIP, stakeholder and event day experiences

In this role, you will work closely with ticketing agencies, hospitality and travel partners, venues, World Netball and internal teams to deliver an integrated, world‑class program that drives revenue and elevates the fan experience. More specifically you will focus on various areas including:

  • Lead end-to-end ticketing delivery, pricing, inventory and sales performance
  • Manage relationships with ticketing, hospitality and travel partners
  • Develop and deliver premium hospitality products and experiences
  • Oversee ticketing and hospitality operations during the tournament
  • Contribute to official World Cup events, launches and stakeholder functions
  • Provide commercial reporting, forecasting and performance insights
  • Ensure compliance, risk management and operational readiness

About You

Together with your enthusiasm and passion for sport and major events you will bring:

  • 3+ years’ experience in ticketing, hospitality, travel or major event delivery
  • Experience in large‑scale sport, entertainment or venue environments
  • Strong stakeholder, supplier and project management skills
  • A commercial mindset with a passion for fan‑centred experiences
  • Confidence operating in fast paced, high profile event environments

Why Join Us?

We offer a fun and flexible, hybrid work environment that supports balance, wellbeing, and professional growth—because we know great work happens when people feel empowered and included. You will work alongside an enthusiastic, inclusive and high performing team, while helping inspire the next generation of netball fans and players.

Netball Australia and the NWC2027 LOC are proud to be an inclusive, diverse and values led employer. We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds.
