Introduction
Looking for a role where you’re not stuck behind a desk and can genuinely make an impact with customers? This is a hands-on, relationship-focused position where you’ll combine technical know-how with sales expertise to deliver real solutions.
You’ll be working with industrial and surface treatment products, partnering closely with customers onsite to understand their needs, solve problems, and add value to their operations. If you enjoy being out in the field, building relationships, and getting involved in the technical side of things—this could be a great fit.
This role is predominantly based across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, with occasional travel to the Sunshine Coast and regional areas.
Responsibilities
You’ll play a key role in driving growth while supporting customers with practical, on-the-ground expertise:
- Build strong relationships with existing customers and become their trusted advisor
- Identify opportunities to grow accounts and bring in new business
- Promote and sell a range of industrial and surface treatment products
- Provide onsite technical support and practical solutions
- Deliver product, process, and safety training to customers
- Maintain accurate customer records and pipeline activity in Salesforce
- Track performance against sales targets and contribute to business growth
- Gather customer feedback and ensure high levels of satisfaction
Your Profile
The following will set you up for success:
- Proven experience in sales, ideally within industrial products or a technical environment
- A hands-on attitude—you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves onsite
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships
- A technical mindset with the ability to understand and explain product solutions
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM system
- A drive to achieve targets and grow your territory
- Ability to work independently while staying connected with a wider team
Desirable
- Experience in surface treatment, engineering workshops, construction, or mining
- Knowledge of chemical products or processes
- Relevant qualifications in chemicals or a related field
