About the role
If you’re passionate about bringing ideas to life through high‑quality studio production, this is a chance to make a real difference. As a Studio Production Specialist, you’ll help shape how our people learn and connect through virtual classrooms, live events and creative studio content that supports the business and our culture.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders across Talent & Capability and the broader business, using our studio environments to create content that’s practical, accessible and genuinely useful for our teams.
What’s involved:
- Bring studio productions to life, managing the technical setup for live, live‑to‑tape and virtual productions.
- Help set and lift creative and technical standards so our content is engaging, consistent and on‑brand.
- Partner with stakeholders to plan, prioritise and schedule studio productions in a fast‑paced environment.
- Maintain and optimise studio equipment so everything runs smoothly and safely.
- Support presenters and on‑screen talent to feel confident, prepared and set up for success.
- Look for smarter ways to use studio capability to improve learning outcomes and business impact.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and refine workflows to improve efficiency and quality.
- Use feedback, data and trends to continuously improve how we create studio‑based content.
- Ensure all productions meet accessibility standards and reflect the Bunnings culture.
- Keep accurate records of content and ensure everything is tested, backed up and ready for use across platforms.
About you
You’re someone who enjoys collaborating with others to solve problems and create something meaningful. You balance creativity with structure, can juggle multiple priorities, and stay calm when things change. You’re curious about new production techniques, open to feedback, and motivated by making content better each time.
You’ll be joining a collaborative, supportive Talent & Capability team that values shared learning, practical solutions and helping each other succeed.
What you’ll need:
- Demonstrated experience working in a video studio production environment, including live or broadcast productions (minimum of 2 plus years’ experience)
- Demonstrated strong hands‑on capability with professional video and audio equipment (cameras, lighting, sound desks, vision switching).
- Experience and ability to support and coach presenters or on‑screen talent.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- A user‑first mindset, ensuring content is engaging, accessible and fit for purpose.
- High attention to detail across creative work, communication and technical setup.
- The ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues and improve processes.
- Comfortable use of Microsoft 365 tools and clear written and verbal communication skills.
- A qualification in audio‑visual, media or video production is highly regarded
You’ll work hands‑on with a well‑equipped studio and production setup, supporting digital, live and offsite productions, including:
Studio & live production:
Digital audio mixing desks (Behringer, Zoom), Tricaster vision switchers (multi M/E workflows, multiple mixed outputs, graphics overlays), Canon and Birddog PTZ cameras, NDI video workflows, Nanlite lighting.
Video & capture:
Canon cinema cameras (C200, R8 filming in C‑Log 3), Insta360 Pro 2 and associated workflows, DJI drones, and DJI gimbals.
Technical environment:
Basic networking understanding, along with Windows and MacOS familiarity.
Offsite production:
PA systems ranging from all‑in‑one units to fully cabled event setups.
You’ll be part of a workplace where you’ll feel like you belong.
