We are inviting Social Workers Level 1–2 to join our Casual Pool, offering flexible opportunities across a range of clinical services.

Responsibilities or duties

Deliver high‑quality social work services that support consumers and carers, improve health outcomes, and uphold professional standards and ethical practice.

In this role, you will:

• Provide high quality, responsive, and patient centred Social Work services across diverse clinical settings
• Build varied experience within one of NSW’s largest and busiest metropolitan hospitals
• Support individuals and families navigating complex health and psychosocial challenges
• Work as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team committed to compassionate and evidence based care
• Thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment that values learning, teamwork, and innovation

Qualifications or requirements

Are You the Right Fit?

We’re looking for motivated Social Workers who demonstrate:

• A recognised Social Work qualification eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
• Experience in a health or related setting, with the ability to deliver a broad range of Social Work assessments and interventions
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work effectively in fast paced or high pressure situations
• A flexible and collaborative approach, with the capability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams
• Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills, supported by sound computer literacy
• A commitment to ongoing professional development, including participation in clinical supervision and reflective practice
• An understanding of quality and safety frameworks, with a demonstrated commitment to evidence based Social Work practice

Experience needed

Experience in a health or related setting, with the ability to deliver a broad range of Social Work assessments and interventions
