We are currently hiring for the following roles:

Welders

As a skilled welder you will be responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal parts and structures using various welding processes.

Boilermakers

As a qualified Boilermaker you will need to construct, assemble, and repair boilers, tanks, and other pressure vessels. You should have experience working with heavy steel plate and structural components.

Metal Fabricators

As an experienced Metal Fabricator you will be required to cut, shape, and assemble metal products according to specifications. You'll be responsible for reading blueprints and using fabrication equipment.

Fitter Welders

As a Fitter Welder you will have expertise in both fitting and welding. This role involves precisely assembling and then welding structural steel and other metal components for complex projects.

Pressure Welders

Aa a certified Pressure Welder your primary role will be to perform critical, high-quality welds on high-pressure pipes and vessels in accordance with strict safety codes and standards.

Special Class Welders

As an experienced Special Class Welder you must be able to perform complex welds on advanced materials and have a proven track record of precision and attention to detail in high-stakes environments.

Locations

Positions are available in multiple locations, including Hope Valley, 6165 (WA), Prestons 2170 (NSW), Berrimah 0828 (NT), and Portsmith 4870 (QLD).

Key Responsibilities

While specific duties may vary by role, a strong candidate will be able to perform a range of tasks, including:

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to understand job requirements.
  • Selecting, cleaning, cutting, and shaping metal.
  • Accurately lining up parts before joining.
  • Welding and joining metal sections using various techniques.
  • Inspecting welds for quality and precision.
  • Cleaning, polishing, and smoothing finished welds.

Requirements

To succeed in these roles, you'll need:

  • A relevant Trade qualification, such as a Boilermaker / Welder certification.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in your trade with proven adaptability.
  • A solid understanding of safety protocols and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • A current driver’s license with reliable transport.
  • An OHS Construction Induction White Card.
  • The ability to handle physically demanding tasks.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.

Desirable (but not mandatory) requirements include Confined Space Entry, Fire Sentry Training, and Working at Heights certification.
