ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Service Technician, you are responsible for repairing, maintaining, and supporting barcode printers and RF scanning terminals on-site and remotely, including hardware setup, diagnostics, and occasional after-hours work.
Your key focus areas will include:
- Repair and service of leading brand barcode label printers and RF scanning terminals
- Field service and in-house maintenance
- Phone and online remote support
- Wi-Fi system design, configuration and servicing
- Disassembly/assembly of mechanical and electronic equipment
- Troubleshooting and diagnostics of barcode label printers and RF scanner terminals
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Service Technician to deliver high-quality technical support and repair services across our Melbourne customer base.
You will have:
- Electronics experience (essential)
- Trade/tertiary qualifications in electronics
- Electronic and mechanical fault diagnosis skills
- Sound knowledge of computing, Windows and Android operating systems
- High standard of customer service
- High level of verbal communications & written skills
- Quality workmanship
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in electronic servicing industry
- Experience in Data Network Principals and Mobile Data Capture Hardware would be an advantage
- Current driver’s licence
