Join a leading local government entity as a Senior Test Analyst (Finance) and play a pivotal role in an ERP Program. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of SAP Finance systems through comprehensive testing and analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a robust and sustainable platform for future growth.

Responsibilities or duties

• Create testing artefacts, including test plans and test summary reports, while managing and coordinating test efforts across the program.
• Derive and produce test cases and associated test data from detailed requirements and processes, ensuring ongoing maintenance and traceability.
• Execute test cases across SAP S/4HANA modules and document results with a strong emphasis on accurate and thorough reporting.
• Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution while collaborating with support teams, system integrators, and developers.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to project stakeholders and mentor subject matter experts within the organisation.

Qualifications or requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Test Analyst (5+ years) with demonstrated expertise in SAP Finance (FICO) module testing.
• Demonstrated ability to perform System Integration Testing across FICO and integrated modules (MM, SD, PP) with limited guidance.
• Proven track record in at least one full-cycle SAP FICO implementation or major upgrade, including month-end and year-end process testing.
• Strong background in testing methodologies and tools, such as CALM, with a comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical issues into clear business language for diverse stakeholders.
