The Role
Anglicare are currently seeking to hire a full time permanent Rostering Team Lead to join our rostering team based in Eight Mile Plains.
The Team Leader is accountable for ensuring staffing levels are optimized to meet service demands, while maintaining compliance with awards and financial budgets. The Team Leader is responsible for day-to-day leadership, operational performance and oversight of the Rostering team. The role provides hands-on escalation management, acts as backup Rostering Officer, and drives capability uplift through training, structured coaching and performance management aligned to Anglicare's standards.

- Lead and implement a service and Anglicare-client focused ethos within the rostering team
- Enable to a service culture that is productive, professional, collaborative, flexible and aligned to Anglicare values
- Assist in orientating new employees and provide ongoing coaching and hands on support
- Assist with recruitment activities and employee performance reviews as delegated
- Provide one-to-one mentoring to employees and run performance calibrations across teams
- Coordinate and maintain new recruit training and training materials.
- Coordinate leave and manage team leave applications and absences, HR matters, and support change initiatives.
- Monitor team rostering in accordance with Enterprise Agreement
- Provide support to Rostering Officer for service roster issues, staffing issues and service delivery issues, as required and delegated.

- Previous experience in rostering, workforce scheduling or similar operational supervisory role
- Advanced skills in rostering software and MS Office suite
- Ability to provide oversight with planning and resource management for direct client care
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Capacity to remain calm and decisive in a fast-paced environment with high-volume, last-minute changes and work collaboratively with decision makers
