Perigon Group is a specialist recruitment firm with an established national reputation across Finance, Accounting, Corporate Services and Executive Search. With a strong foundation in Sydney and Brisbane, we're entering an exciting growth phase in Melbourne and we're looking for an experienced Recruiter to help lead that expansion within the Finance & Accounting space.
We are also open to speaking with high-performing consultants or senior recruiters ready to step into a Manager-level role, offering the right individual a clear pathway into leadership as part of our Melbourne build-out.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior role with genuine influence, shaping our Melbourne market strategy, and building something with long-term impact - backed by the resources of an ASX-listed group (PeopleIN, ASX: PPE) and the agility of a boutique firm.
What you’ll do
- Manage end-to-end 360° recruitment across our Finance & Accounting vertical
- Lead business development - identifying, winning and growing key client relationships
- Conduct client meetings, negotiate terms and manage commercial discussions
- Mentor and support junior consultants, contributing to team performance and culture
- Build and present high-quality shortlists with market insights and recommendations
- Partner across divisions to maximise cross-selling opportunities
- Contribute to thought leadership, networking events and Perigon’s market presence
- Share market intelligence, salary data and insights internally and with clients
About you
- Proven 360° recruitment experience within a professional services or commercial environment
- Background in Finance and Accounting 360 recruitment
- Strong client relationship, negotiation skills and commercial accumen
- Experience mentoring others, or a clear appetite to step into a leadership role
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
