Transform lives, every single day

Do you want a career that means more?

At Anglicare Sydney, we bring the strength, the support and the strategy to make it happen.

We're a well‑respected not‑for‑profit that's been serving older people and vulnerable communities for more than 160 years. Each year, we support over 40,000 people to live with dignity, connection and choice - and our Seniors Communities play a vital role in making that possible.

We are now seeking a Resident Services Officer - Reception & Administration to be the welcoming face of our Warriewood Brook Retirement Village, helping residents, families and visitors feel supported from the moment they arrive.

If you thrive in a front‑of‑house environment, enjoy supporting others, and bring calm professionalism to every interaction, this could be the perfect role for you.

Your opportunity

Warriewood | Part‑time - 2 days per week

As a Resident Services Officer focused on reception and administration, you'll play an important role in the day‑to‑day experience of residents and visitors. You'll ensure the smooth operation of the village front desk while providing warm, respectful and reliable support to those who call our community home.

This is a resident‑facing role where no two days are the same, offering meaningful connections and the opportunity to positively impact the lives of older Australians.

With confidence, empathy and attention to detail, you will:

Front Desk & Customer Service

  • Provide a warm, professional welcome to residents, visitors, staff and contractors
  • Manage reception duties, enquiries and general assistance requests
  • Support residents navigating village services and accessing information
  • Respond promptly and courteously to enquiries and direct requests to the appropriate teams

Administration & Communication

  • Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism and accuracy
  • Manage mail, post and deliveries
  • Process invoicing, accounts payable tasks and basic financial administration
  • Maintain accurate records and follow established office processes
  • Assist with general administrative tasks to support village operations

Teamwork & Village Support

  • Work collaboratively with the wider village team to ensure a consistent resident experience
  • Support lifestyle, care and hospitality teams when required
  • Contribute to a respectful, safe and responsive workplace culture
  • Follow WHS requirements and participate in safety initiatives

What you'll bring

You're warm, organised and approachable, with a genuine desire to support older people and create a welcoming environment.

You'll also bring:

  • Experience in reception, customer service or administration roles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence using technology (MS Office, email and digital systems)
  • Ability to manage competing tasks with attention to detail
  • A flexible, team‑focused approach
  • A valid driver's licence

Why Anglicare?

At Anglicare, we provide meaningful opportunities and choice - for the individuals and communities we support, and for the people who work with us.

You'll enjoy the security and stability of a well‑established organisation, a supportive and values‑driven culture, and opportunities to build your skills and grow your career while making a genuine difference.

Benefits include:

  • Salary packaging to increase your take‑home pay (up to $15,900 tax‑free)
  • Additional $2,650 tax‑free for meals and entertainment
  • Ongoing professional development and training
  • Discounts with over 400 retailers
  • Employee Assistance Program and Fitness Passport (800+ gyms)
