POSITION SUMMARY
To support the Production team, we are seeking experienced Production Operators who are enthusiastic, hardworking and enjoy a fast paced and dynamic work environment. Opportunities are available in the below department:
A DAY IN THE LIFE...
Reporting to the Line Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- A focus on continuous improvement and structured problem solving
- Assist in achieving line standards associated with production runs and the standard conditions & routines associated with Safety & the 4M's (Man, Machine, Method, Material).
- Achieve a "zero injury, defect, waste" mind-set & promote behaviours that have a positive impact on Safety Health Environment & Quality.
- Participate in Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) and Total Performance Management (TPM) principles to build capability and improve your areas overall performance.
- Ensuring all work carried out adheres to quality, compliance, safety, reliability and cost requirements
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL?
- Reliability and a high degree of flexibility including the ability to work shift work.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning with a strong focus on safety, quality and wellbeing
- Good numeracy, literacy, and communication skills
- Good PC skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
- Ability to work with SAP and an understanding of SAP transactions
- Developed technical aptitude and physical capability for manual handling
- Commitment to GMP
- Possess a forklift licence (an advantage)
- Strong preference will be given to candidates that demonstrate a high attention to standards, and strong engagement in NCE / TPM principles.
