JOB DETAILS:
New Town Toyota is growing, and we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pre-Delivery Yard Hand to join our team full-time.
If you're organised, hands-on, and ready to support the delivery of new vehicles with precision and care, this could be the perfect role for you.
About the Role
As a Pre-Delivery Yard Hand, you'll play a key role in ensuring vehicle parts and accessories are delivered efficiently to the correct workshop bays and completing ad hoc yard duties to support the team.
Work Hours
Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3:36pm + occasional Saturdays if required.
Key Responsibilities
- Move parts and accessories in and out of the Pre-Delivery storeroom
- Organise and label stock for easy identification and access
- Deliver parts to the correct workshop bays based on job schedules
- Conduct stock takes and report discrepancies
- Pick up parts from off-site suppliers when required
- Assist with vehicle drop-offs and pick-ups
- Support the team with general yard duties
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable with a positive, team-focused attitude
- Physically fit and comfortable handling stock
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of vehicle parts (desirable, not essential)
