About the opportunity

As a Postal Delivery Coordinator, you’ll lead a frontline delivery team to ensure mail and parcels are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time while supporting day-to-day operations and team performance.

You’ll be

• Provide high level advice and support coordination to assist the Delivery Manager and facility staff.
• Drive performance and process improvement initiatives.
• Assist in the Implementation and monitoring of all facets of Australia Post’s Diversity and OH&S Policies and Procedures.
• Assist with the processing and delivery of letters and parcels as needed.
• Coach and where needed conduct performance conversations.

About you

• You hold a current motorcycle licence (provisional or full)
• You're motivated and able to bring the best out of people under your leadership.
• Strong leadership and team building experience.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring co-workers.
• Strong customer service focus involving direct contact with customers.
• Interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment.
• Proven experience of prioritising, planning and scheduling.
• Ability to be flexible during periods of change.
