About the Role:

As an Infrastructure Plant Operator, you will operate 1.5T – 15T excavators, bobcats, skid-steers, and other plant equipment on live civil infrastructure sites. You will work safely around services and utilities, assist with civil and water infrastructure works, and support project teams in delivering high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators (1.5T – 15T), bobcats, skid-steers, and other plant safely and efficiently.
• Assist with trenching, excavation, and site preparation for civil infrastructure works.
• Work safely around live services and utility assets.
• Perform routine maintenance and checks on machinery and equipment.
• Follow project plans and directions from supervisors and site engineers.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Support site teams to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to quality standards.

Skills & Qualifications

• Plant Operation Tickets
• Proven experience operating 1.5T – 15T excavators and bobcat skid steers.
• Experience working safely around live underground services.
• Construction White Card and a valid driver’s licence.
• Knowledge of civil and water infrastructure construction is highly regarded.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality.
