Are you an experienced Payroll Professional with a background in the automotive industry? As we transition from Unipay to Employment Hero’s integrated HR and payroll platform, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, timely payroll while helping to shape the future of our workforce systems. This is an on-site position based at our Campbelltown location.

What You’ll Do

You will assist with the accurate processing of payroll across a multi-site environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • End-to-end payroll processing across multiple entities using Unipay (transitioning to Employment Hero)
  • Ensure compliance with awards, superannuation, and Fair Work obligations in conjunction with the People and Culture team.
  • Reconcile payroll reports, STP submissions, leave entitlements, and employee records
  • Work closely with People & Culture to support onboarding, terminations, and audits
  • Manage payroll queries with professionalism, discretion, and efficiency
  • Actively participate in the rollout, testing, and optimisation of our new payroll system

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven payroll experience in a multi-site, award-based environment (automotive industry experience highly regarded)
  • Hands-on experience with Unipay and ideally a transition to a cloud-based HRIS like Employment Hero
  • Strong understanding of NES, payroll tax, STP, and superannuation compliance
  • A keen eye for detail, discretion, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Confidence working in evolving environments and supporting system change
