Le Mans Toyota is a large dealership group in Melbourne, located across two sites in Deer Park and Tottenham, with approximately 170 staff members. We are seeking an Automotive Parts Sales Representative to identify new business opportunities, manage customer relationships, and promote automotive parts and accessories to wholesale and retail customers. This role combines relationship-based selling with product knowledge and proactive business development and offers genuine opportunities for career growth not only within the Le Mans sites but across our associated entities.
Responsibilities or duties
Identify potential customers and contact wholesale and retail establishments
Present and demonstrate motor vehicle parts and accessories to customers
Provide information and advice on the features and benefits of various parts and accessories
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective customers
Negotiate and finalise sales agreements in line with company objectives
Maintain and grow existing customer accounts
Attend trade shows and industry events to promote products and generate leads
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery
Qualifications or requirements
Experience needed
Previous sales experience in automotive parts, accessories, or a related industry preferred
Knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle systems
Experience working with wholesale and/or retail customers
Ability to prepare sales proposals and conduct product presentations
Comfortable using CRM systems and basic computer applications
