Brisbane’s newest and largest Volkswagen dealership, at Macgregor Volkswagen is seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter to support our large faced past service team.

As a Parts Interpreter you play key & pivotal role a pivotal role within the dealership helping our guests to get their vehicles serviced and resolving any issues they may be having with their vehicles, so this is a role for people who are passionate about great customer service.

Macgregor Volkswagen is a brand-new purpose-built state-of-the-art Volkswagen dealership built for performance—just like the vehicles we sell. Opened in May 2025, our dealership is already setting new benchmarks for customer service, innovation, and team culture.

What we are looking for:

  • Parts Identification & Interpretation: Accurately identify automotive parts using catalogues, online databases, and technical manuals. Ensure correct part numbers and descriptions are used for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Customer Service: Interact with retail and trade customers, technicians, and service advisors to determine parts requirements. Provide expert advice and recommendations for repairs, replacements, and upgrades.
  • Ordering & Sourcing Parts: Coordinate the ordering and delivery of automotive parts from suppliers, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of orders.
  • Technical Support: Offer technical assistance to customers and colleagues, answering questions about part compatibility, installation, and performance.
  • Documentation & Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of orders, transactions, returns, and warranties. Ensure all paperwork complies with company and legal standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service delivery.

To be considered for this position you will need the following:

  • Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter, with Automotive background, Dealership experience is preferred but not required for the right applicant
  • Excellent customer service skills including in person, in writing and over the telephone
  • An infectious ambitious & professional attitude
  • Attention to Accuracy and a high attention to detail is a must
  • Must have Australian work Rights
  • Current manual driver's licence
  • Do you have a current Australian driver's licence?
