Currently looking for a Panel Beater at both Darra, Tingalpa, and Banyo
Also looking for Assemblers with proven experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect vehicle bodywork, identify structural and cosmetic damage, and determine repair methods.
- Remove dents, reshape metal panels, and restore body surfaces using specialised tools.
- Remove severely damaged panels and weld or fit new ones to manufacturer standards.
- Use hydraulic or mechanical equipment to realign bent chassis or unibody structures.
- Sand, fill, grind, and smooth repaired areas to prepare for painting.
- Apply primer, paint, and clear coat, then polish to achieve a seamless finish.
So, who can be a Panel Beater at SMART?
You’ll be qualified in Collision repairs.
Attention to detail is paramount.
We work collaboratively, so the ability to have open communication with your peers in relation to repairs and timeframes is crucial.
With our roles being full-time and permanent, you must have full Australian work rights.
From time to time, we’ll ask you to assist in other areas relating to your skills, such as Assembly of vehicles on completion of repairs and mentoring our Apprentices.
Most importantly, you must be prepared to make safety your number one priority for yourself, your work mates and your customers.
