We are seeking a permanent fulltime Paid Media Lead to be located in our ANZ Northgate Head Office.
We’re bringing performance marketing in-house, and this newly created Paid Media Lead role is your opportunity to take ownership of high-impact Metagenics paid media campaigns. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll be hands-on in-platform, driving Metagenics-branded performance across Google and Social channels, while working as part of a small paid media team that includes a Paid Media Coordinator supporting campaign and ad builds across both leads, including our Retail-focused Paid Media Lead.
This is not a “manage agencies from a distance” role. You’ll be in-platform, in the data, and in the detail, planning, launching, optimising and scaling paid media across Google Ads and social channels. This role is perfect for someone who loves performance marketing, thrives in the data, and enjoys running experiments to unlock growth.
Responsibilities or duties
- You’ll own the hands-on execution and optimisation of paid media across our key channels, with a focus on efficient growth and measurable results.
- Build, launch and optimise campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Shopping & Performance Max), with YouTube as a strong advantage
- Build, launch and optimise campaigns in Meta (Facebook & Instagram) focused on DTC acquisition and revenue growth. TikTok Ads a strong advantage.
- Complete daily monitoring and optimisation to improve ROAS, CAC, and overall performance
- Translating performance data into clear insights, recommendations and next actions, including visual performance dashboards
- Collaborating closely with internal teams across Content, Email, CRM, Design, e-Commerce, and Brand to bring campaigns to life
- Testing and scaling emerging channels
Qualifications or requirements
Experience needed
- We’re looking for someone confident and capable in-platform, especially within Google and Meta Ads.
- Must-haves:
- 3+ years in-platform Google Ads experience, specifically across Search + Shopping/Performance Max
- 3+ years in-platform experience with Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) and optimising performance-focused campaigns
- Comfortable working towards DTC eCommerce KPIs (ROAS, CAC, revenue, customer growth)
- Strong ability to interpret performance data and make optimisation decisions
- Experience managing budgets in a fast-moving, test-and-learn environment
- Excellent attention to detail, and communication skills, able to explain what’s happening, why, and what you’ll do next
- Nice-to-haves:
- Hands-on YouTube campaign experience (highly desirable)
- Hands-on TikTok Ads experience (bonus)
- Experience with Merchant Centre / feed management (GMC, DataFeedWatch)
- Familiarity with Looker Studio, Shopify, Elevar, Dotdigital
- Certifications (Google Ads, Meta Blueprint), or a genuine learning mindset
