Summary:

As Office Administrator for Five Good Friends, you will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the workspace is organised, efficient, and welcoming. This role involves coordinating office operations, organising meetings, managing records, and providing administrative support to the wider business.

We’re looking for excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to deliver multiple tasks simultaneously. This is an office based role as this Office Administrator will play a key role in delivering a great culture for Five Good Friends.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain office supplies, equipment, and facilities
  • Place orders with third party vendors.
  • Support with equipment provisioning for new starters and leavers.
  • Organise our company mail and distributed to the right employees.
  • Meet and greet visitors at our South Brisbane office.
  • Help with organising company events such as our Town Hall and All Hands.
  • Support with internal comms around office related activities.
  • Support with leadership meeting or travel arrangements.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in office administration or similar role with transferable skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Able to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage time efficiently.
  • Experience with bookkeeping or finance management
  • Able to solve problems independently while knowing when to escalate issues.
  • Knowledge of HR procedures or previous HR support experience
  • Familiarity with project management software or office-specific tools like scheduling platforms
