We are recruiting for a permanent fulltime National Account Manager to join our Sales team, to be located out of our Head Office in Northgate, Brisbane.
Reporting to the Head of Retail Sales-ANZ, this appointment continues to build on and maintain strong commercial relationships with our Key Pharmacy Accounts through delivering sales, profit and market share targets, and achieving our growth ambitions. This is an ideal appointment for a well-rounded National Account Manager that would relish working with well-known quality brands that make a difference to people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Revenue, Gross Margin, Market Share, Service Level & AR targets for nominated Pharmacy Key Accounts.
- Develop jointly aligned business plans with Key Accounts.
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to deliver forecast accuracy and alignment to brand strategy.
- Effectively collaborate on & manage trade investment decisions to maximize customer and channel profitability.
- Effectively manage customer relationships, maintaining net favourable scores and Top 5 ranking in the Advantage Survey.
- Effectively leverage insight (industry, customer, category shopper or product) to influence sales outcomes.
- Negotiate and manage trade spend (rebate, discount and co-op) to agreed levels by account, delivering against RGM objectives.
- Collaborate with the field sales team to provide them with the necessary information to support excellence in instore execution of agreed plans.
- Collaborate with the Key Accounts, Customer Marketing and Brand Marketing teams to manage channel conflict and promotional execution.
Skills and experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or Marketing (or offer significant relevant industry experience)
- Ideal experience across FMCG & Pharmacy Account Management
- Current experience managing a major Pharmacy retailer- highly regarded
- Well-developed analytical skills with previous exposure interpreting IQVIA, Circana and/or Nielsen data sets- ideal
- Mature commercial acumen & business negotiation skills- demonstrated ability to quickly interpret complex data, provide insights and develop and execute customer strategies.
- An innate ability to build and retain productive and authentic relationships with our internal and external stakeholders
