Ready to Keep Our Fleet Adventure-Ready?

Do you love being the person who makes sure every campervan and motorhome is safe, reliable, and ready for the next great journey? Are you at your best when you’re diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles while working alongside a passionate, hands-on team?

At Travvia, the people behind JUCY and Star RV, we’re looking for a Motor Mechanic to join our Melbourne Branch and help deliver seamless travel experiences for every customer, every time.

The Destination: Where Expertise Meets Adventure

As a Mechanic, you play a vital role in bringing our promise to life. You’ll work closely with the Workshop Team, Customer Service, and Detailing crew to ensure our fleet is always road-ready, compliant, and spotless. Your work will help travellers embark on their adventures safely, comfortably, and stress-free.

This role is more than just servicing vehicles, it’s about taking ownership, problem-solving, and making every journey possible. You’ll be trusted to apply your expertise, step in wherever needed, and help the branch run like a well-oiled machine.

Your Journey in the Workshop

Keep Our Fleet Adventure-Ready

You’ll be responsible for both minor and major mechanical servicing, repairs, and troubleshooting across our campervans, motorhomes, and cars. You’ll ensure every vehicle meets safety standards and is fully prepared for the road ahead.

Solve Problems & Support the Team

From day-to-day maintenance to unexpected issues, you’ll bring a logical, solution-focused mindset to every challenge. You’ll work closely with teammates to keep the workshop efficient, safe, and productive.

Contribute to Continuous Improvement

You’ll share your knowledge, support projects, and help improve workshop processes, ensuring our fleet and operations continue to get better every day.

Lead by Example

Health and safety is part of everything you do. You’ll actively follow Travvia policies, promote safe work practices, and help ensure a safe environment for staff, contractors, and customers.

What You’ll Bring to the Trip

You’re a fully qualified, experienced Motor Mechanic with a passion for delivering work you can be proud of. You’re reliable, proactive, and calm under pressure, with the ability to troubleshoot and make sound decisions. You take pride in your craft, enjoy learning, and thrive in a team environment.

You’ll also bring:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong focus and persistence to see tasks through to completion
  • The ability to anticipate issues and resolve problems efficiently
  • An Australian driver’s licence and eligibility to work in Australia

Why You’ll Love Rolling With Us

This is a full-time permanent role where you’ll join a supportive, fun, and multicultural team that genuinely enjoys working together. You’ll have opportunities to grow your career in the tourism industry and be part of iconic brands that are expanding across Australia and New Zealand.

We offer amazing perks, including 5 days of free campervan hire every year to experience your own adventures. You’ll join a company that values your skills, wellbeing, and professional growth, giving you the space, support, and opportunities to keep moving forward on your own career journey.
