What’s the role?

As Manager, Finance - Group Reporting & Analytics, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate and timely regulatory reporting for the Westpac Group. You’ll work within the Group Reporting & Analytics team, partnering closely with Finance, business units, and other stakeholders across the bank. Your focus will be on preparing and reviewing regulatory returns, maintaining strong financial and regulatory controls, and providing clear insights that support sound decision‑making.

You’ll also contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives and support regulatory and technology change programs, working across multiple priorities in a complex environment.

This role suits someone who is confident operating at senior level, comfortable dealing with scrutiny, and able to translate complex financial and regulatory information into clear, practical insights.

What do I need?

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • A solid grounding in finance or accounting, with a strong understanding of core financial concepts
  • Experience preparing, reviewing, or overseeing regulatory returns and related analysis
  • The ability to ensure high standards of accuracy, control, and compliance in reporting
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across Finance, business units, and senior audiences
  • Confidence presenting complex financial and regulatory information in a clear and simple way
  • Experience working in environments with regulatory change, transformation initiatives, or competing priorities
  • CA or CPA qualification is preferred, but not essential if you bring strong, relevant experience

Our Promise to You

We’re obsessed with becoming our customers' #1 banking partner for life and we’re looking for people who are passionate about helping us achieve that goal. In return, we’re committed to making Westpac the best place to work in the country. Here are just a few of the ways we’re already doing that:

  • Flexible work arrangements to help you achieve a greater work/life balance, and a variety of leave options including Culture, Lifestyle and Wellbeing leave.
  • Tailored learning and development opportunities to help your grow your career within the bank.
