As part of their ongoing growth, they’re looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join the team in a role that blends financial rigour with commercial insight.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will partner with operational and corporate stakeholders to deliver accurate financial reporting, support business performance, and drive process improvement. This role blends hands-on accounting with commercial insight, providing exposure to multi-site operations and strategic finance initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with operational and corporate teams to provide financial insights and support business decisions
• Reviewing, collecting, and analysing data for weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reporting
• Preparing journals, general ledger reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Identifying cost variances, trends, and opportunities, recommending corrective actions
• Assisting auditors and supporting compliance and internal controls
• Driving system and process improvements across operational sites

Skills and Experience

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance; CA/CPA desirable
• Experience in a management accounting role within a large or multi-site business
• Advanced Excel skills, with experience in data analysis and reporting
• Exposure to ERP systems and reporting tools (SAP, Power BI, QlikSense, or similar advantageous)
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with a proactive and collaborative approach
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams and locations
