Background
Primo are looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join our dedicated onsite team in Wacol. You will directly contribute to the safe and reliable operation of our Production Street facility through proactive electrical maintenance.
This role offers an opportunity for work/life balance with no rotating roster and the option to work overtime and weekends. Choose the shift that works for you:
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative electrical maintenance to maximise equipment uptime
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, control, power distribution and automation systems
- Respond promptly to electrical faults, alarms, and breakdowns to minimise production disruption
- Maintain and optimise PLCs, control systems, and electrical infrastructure for consistent operation
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, regulations, and company procedures
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying recurring faults, participating in root cause analysis, and recommending long-term reliability improvements
What You'll Bring
- Current QLD Electrical Work Licence (or equivalent)
- Motivated, proactive and safety-conscious attitude
- Willingness to learn and retain knowledge
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently across all levels as a collaborative team player
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
