About the Role

As the Locum Team Leader, you will provide both clinical and operational leadership, ensuring best‑practice, evidence‑based services for children and their families. You’ll oversee a team of therapists and allied health assistants, offer clinical supervision, drive operational performance, and maintain excellence across therapy delivery, compliance, and client experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and support therapists through supervision, caseload reviews, and performance development.
  • Deliver high‑quality clinical services, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Ensure high standards of documentation, service agreements, consent, reporting, and WHS compliance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with families, referrers, community partners, and external providers.

What You’ll Bring

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Psychology.
  • AHPRA registration or relevant professional membership.
  • Strong clinical expertise with experience in paediatric or early‑intervention therapy.
  • Proven leadership capability within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and report‑writing skills.
  • Current WWCC/WWVP, NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid, and driver’s licence.
