About the Role
As a Motor Mechanic / Automotive Technician, you will play a key role in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing vehicles while maintaining the high standards our customers expect.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle faults
- Performing routine servicing and maintenance tasks
- Using diagnostic equipment to accurately identify vehicle issues
- Communicating repair recommendations clearly with customers and internal staff
- Road testing vehicles and conducting quality control checks on completed work
- Assisting the Workshop Manager with general workshop duties as required
- Keeping up to date with mandatory factory training
- Ensuring all warranty procedures and documentation are completed correctly
- Maintaining a safe workplace and complying with all OH&S policies and procedures
About You
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience as a fully qualified Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of dealership workshop processes
- Exceptional workmanship, reliability, and efficiency
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Good computer and diagnostic system skills
- A positive “can-do” attitude and professional presentation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A full manual driver’s licence
- High levels of integrity and professionalism
