CG Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Leading Hand (2IC) to join a national manufacturer and distributor of high-quality kitchen benchtops, based in Moorebank.

Permanent Day shift: Monday to Friday roster, 7am-3pm/ 8am-4pm

Duties:

• Oversee daily production to ensure deadlines and quality standards are consistently achieved
• Coordinate workflow and prioritise jobs effectively
• Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to team members
• Liaise with management regarding progress, performance, and any issues
• Assist with day-to-day operations and team coordination
• Manual handling tasks
• Operate overhead crane and forklift to load slabs onto trucks and vehicles
• Conduct stocktakes, RF scanning, and data entry
• Load and unload trucks
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment

Ideal Traits:

• Strong communication skills
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Fit and strong – ability to lift 20-25 kg consistently
• Forklift experience (2+ years)
• Reliable, organised & hardworking

Mandatory Requirements:

• Own Transport and Drivers Licence
• Forklift licence
• Able to pass a medical & police check
• Have full rights to work in Australia
