About the Role

The role is within the Research & Analysis (‘R&A’) is function, Australia Corporate team. This dynamic team is supporting the end to end management of a portfolio of Mid Market Enterprise clients across a range of sectors (retailers, manufacturers, industrials, media, entertainment, etc).

Research & Analysis is primarily responsible for identifying and effectively managing risks with the Business and acting as the interface between Coverage and Risk. R&A aims to deliver well-balanced outcomes for ANZ, with a strong focus on customer, proactive risk management and efficiency. End-to-end relationship credit management process includes Credit Writing, Risk Grading, Risk Analysis & Credit Approval, Documentation and Portfolio Monitoring (well managed).

The R&A function plays a critical role in identifying, assessing, and managing credit risks, acting as a key interface between Coverage and Risk teams. The team is focused on delivering balanced, risk-aware outcomes while maintaining a strong emphasis on customer focus, proactive risk management, and operational efficiency.

What will your day look like?

As an Lead Analyst(project and credit workflow), your accountabilities include:

  • Reporting and analytics for the International Corporate portfolio, including portfolio reviews, monitoring and stress testing
  • Collaboration with R&A teams across the International network to support delivery of change initiatives from WCP, Capital Reforms and other evolving business needs
  • Develop an understanding of R&A processes and systems with a focus on performing activities to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies
  • Support wider R&A GCC team with simple corporate credit assessments related to AP clients.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Overall 6+ years of experience Project, Reporting, Credit writing, Excel.
  • Strong analytical and research capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Highly organized, ability to learn quickly and multi-task effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Building and maintaining key stakeholder relationships.
  • Knowledge of banking products and credit processes.
