The Role: LO Forklift Operator

In this role you will utilise both LO and LF forklifts to pick orders, complete replens and putaways as well as load and unload trucks and containers.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong forklift skills, warehousing experience, and attention to detail in freight handling and scanning processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of warehouse operations. This is a pivotal role for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to maintaining accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service standards.

Your main duties will involve:

• Utilising LO Order picking forklifts up to 6 racks high
• Low level (Narrow aisle order pickers) LO order picking duties
• High reach forklift operation up to 6 racks high
• Replens, picking and putaways
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers utilising Gas counterbalance forklifts
• Picking VIA RF scanner
• Utilising Cargowise WMS
• Wrapping and strapping products and pallets
• Palletising stock
• General warehouse cleaning up of wrapping rubbish and discarding product boxes
• Matching and Cross-checking paperwork against orders

Shift Available:

Day:

• 6am to 2pm
• Monday to Friday role
• Weekend overtime available

The Candidate:

To be successful in obtaining this role you must have a Valid LO Forklift License and will have the following experience:

• LF Forklift license
• LO order pick license
• 2+ years LO Order Picking Experience
• Experience with Narrow Aisle LO Order pickers
• Experince picking palletised freight
• 2+ Years High reach and Counter Balance forklift operating experience
• Experience picking up to 6 racks high
• Replenishment and put away experience
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers experience
• RF scanning experience
• Palletising stock experience
• Shrink wrapping (Both manual and machine operated)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent WHS knowledge
• Heavy lifting up to 20 kgs

You must be prepared to work a 50 / 50 role on and off of the Order Picker / Forklifts completing manual picking duties to be successful in obtaining this role
