About the role:

MYMC are on the lookout for staff to join our Kitchen Team across our batching, prep & dishwashing team.

Our Kitchen operate from Sunday to Thursday across 3 different shifts.

  • Day Shift: 6:15am – 2:21pm
  • Afternoon Shift: 2:15pm – 10:21pm
  • Night Shift: 10:15pm – 6:21am

Key Responsibilities:

Batching & Prep:

  • Weighing and measuring ingredients using scales
  • Portioning bulk ingredients (e.g., rice, vegetables, sauces, spices, proteins)
  • Preparing ingredients according to batch sheets or production recipes
  • Opening, unpacking, and organising bulk ingredients
  • Preparing sauces, marinades, or seasoning mixes
  • Following HACCP and food safety procedures

Dishwashing:

  • Washing large pots, trays and utensils
  • Cleaning mixing containers, ingredient tubs, and storage bins
  • Removing food residue from cooking vessels
  • Using industrial dishwashers or pot-wash stations
  • Handling hot equipment safely Preventing slip hazards from water or grease

Skills & Experience:

  • Physical Fitness: Capable of standing, lifting (up to 20kg) & bending to pick up and move products.
  • Team Player: Possess a strong team player attitude and work ethic.
  • Environment: Ability to work in a cold environment with appropriate PPE worn
  • Reliability and Commitment: Demonstrates reliability and commitment, ensuring opportunities for ongoing work.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly.
  • Safety: Follow correct lifting techniques & adhere to all safety and quality standards.
