In this role you will be based at St Vincent's hospital, Darlinghurst. A busy inner-city hospital in a beautiful location. Surrounded by great cafes, galleries and theatres, parks, nightlife, and nearby glorious beaches. A place of expert clinical care for at-risk people. Closely partnered with universities & affiliated research institutes, many of which are located on-campus. Centres of excellence include heart & lung transplantation, bone marrow transplantation, cardiology, cancer care, AIDS/HIV, respiratory medicine, mental health, homeless health, drug & alcohol services, and correctional health.

Responsibilities or duties

  • Prepare and organise patient documents, then scan them into the system accurately and on time.
  • Check all scanned records to make sure they are clear, complete and correct.
  • Update and track patient records in CorePas, including handling urgent requests from departments like Emergency and Outpatients.
  • Work with team members and other departments to keep the scanning process running smoothly.
  • Assist with record retrieval (including off-site), attend team meetings, and support other admin tasks when needed.

Qualifications or requirements

  • Experience using patient administration systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in CorePas or similar patient administration systems.
  • Able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
