About the Role
This role is critical to the safe and efficient movement of large paper reels within our manufacturing environment. You will be operating forklifts fitted with grab attachments to handle paper reels and support continuous press operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts with grab attachments to safely move, load, and store paper reels
- Supply reels to production lines in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure safe handling of high‑value paper stock to prevent damage or waste
- Follow all site safety procedures and manual handling guidelines
- Perform routine forklift checks and report maintenance issues
- Work closely with press and warehouse teams to meet production schedules
About You
- Minimum 3 years’ driving forklifts with experience using a grab attachment (essential)
- Current LF forklift licence
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Experience working in a manufacturing or printing environment (highly regarded)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, production‑driven setting
