Our client

An established and resilient Australian group in the retail sector. They've seen steady strong growth over the past few years, and have a diversified portfolio of products.

Closely knit team with strong culture, our client is based in the CBD. WFH on offer.

The role

This is a broad role across financial reporting, month end, analysis and business partnering, as well as ongoing projects.

Responsibilities include but aren't limited to -

  • Full responsibility of month end reporting
  • Analysis & interpretation of company performance and in depth analysis of clinical performance
  • Establish, implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
  • Preparation of financial statements
  • Maintain fixed asset register
  • Dealing with external Accountants, Tax Advisers, and Auditors
  • Being a key member with regards to annual audit and half yearly audit review
  • Compliance requirements of superannuation, GST, PAYG, payroll tax, ABS etc
  • Consolidating monthly results with commentary / analyses of balance sheet movements and income statement variances against budget / forecast
  • Budgeting and forecasting and analysis (20%)

About you

  • CPA/CA qualified or near to completion
  • Strong experience across financial reporting and month end
  • Open to 1st movers - audit preferred
  • Outstanding communicator
