Background

For over 15 years, ASCOT GROUP has delivered specialised building services across healthcare, aged care and retirement living, education, government, and commercial environments. From complex live settings to large-scale upgrades and construction projects, ASCOT GROUP operates where precision, planning and partnership matter.

We were built on a simple but powerful idea: make a difference. Not just in the physical spaces we create, but in how we work alongside clients, consultants, contractors and communities. Across the nation, our people are creating exceptional spaces through expertise, care and genuine partnerships.

The Experience is the difference and it shows in everything we do.

We’re looking for a Finance Manager who wants their work to carry that same weight. Someone ready to partner closely with the CFO, take ownership of financial operations, and strengthen the systems and controls that support a growing national business.

This is more than managing numbers. It’s about enabling a business that delivers with precision, reputation and long-term trust.

Role Context

This could be your launchpad. You’ve done the audit grind. You understand controls, compliance and integrity.

Now you’re ready to:

  • Own something.
  • Improve something.
  • Influence something.

This is more than transactional finance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day financial operations (AP/AR, cashflow, payroll coordination)
  • Support ERP implementation and system improvement
  • Drive month-end accuracy and reporting excellence
  • Strengthen controls and manage audit processes
  • Streamline workflows and build smarter processes
  • Business Partnering with all divisions around the Country.
  • Work with the CFO daily, improving all parts of the business.

We want someone who looks at a process and thinks: “There’s a better way.”

Qualifications and Experience

  • CA/CPA qualified (Chartered background ideal)
  • Strong systems capability (ERP exposure highly regarded)
  • A strong audit background would be advantageous
  • Process-improvement mindset
  • Construction/project environment experience desirable
  • Commercially curious

Additional Notes

We understand that careers and life don’t always follow a standard template. Flexibility can show up in different ways, and we’re open to discussing an arrangement that supports both strong performance and personal priorities.

If you’re ready to move from reviewing the numbers…to owning the impact behind them.
