We are currently seeking a Full Time Fixed Term staff member to join our team based at our offices in Sunshine.
An exciting opportunity is available for a high performing Executive Officer to support the coordination and effective operation of the Chief Executive Officer's office during an 18 month maternity leave period, from Monday 29 June 2026 to Friday 4 February 2028.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role plays a critical part in enabling executive effectiveness within a dynamic, fast paced, and politically sensitive environment.
About the role
As Executive Officer to the CEO, you will provide high level strategic and operational support, exercising sound judgement, discretion, and initiative. You will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team, Councillors, and key internal and external stakeholders, contributing to strong governance, engagement, and decision making across the organisation.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in a senior executive support, executive officer, or advisory role within a complex organisation
- Exceptional organisational skills, with a strategic and solutions focused mindset
- Strong relationship management and influencing capabilities across all levels of an organisation
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to operate confidently in a fast paced and politically sensitive environment, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times
