About the role
Coordinate and deliver engaging palliative care education programs across the hospital, supporting staff, JMOs, and medical students
Manage student placements and rosters (UNDA, UNSW, PEPA), ensuring learning requirements are tracked and met
Lead end-to-end event coordination for seminars, conferences, visiting medical groups, and hospital-wide initiatives like Palliative Care Week
Provide seamless administrative support for education, research meetings, and Grand Rounds, including minutes, follow-ups, and logistics
Oversee seminar scheduling and room bookings, ensuring smooth delivery of training sessions and educational series
About you
Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
Highly proficient in MS Office and patient management systems (e.g. CHIME, CorePAS, Web DeLacy), with fast and accurate data entry
A proactive problem-solver with sound judgement and the ability to manage challenges and resolve conflicts
Thrives in a fast-paced environment, with excellent time management and the ability to prioritise competing demands
A collaborative team player who can also work independently, with a track record of improving processes and service outcomes

In this role you will be based at St Vincent's hospital, Darlinghurst.

Closely partnered with universities & affiliated research institutes, many of which are located on-campus
Centres of excellence include heart & lung transplantation, bone marrow transplantation, cardiology, cancer care, AIDS/HIV, respiratory medicine, mental health, homeless health, drug & alcohol services, and correctional health
