About The Role

We are seeking experienced Excavator/Drill Fitters looking for a permanent opportunity to join our dynamic maintenance team in Collinsville.

Our teams deliver mining excellence, with uncompromising safety and environmental standards and we’re looking forward to continuing our long-term relationships across our mine sites.

As an Excavator/Drill Fitter, you will be required to:

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on excavators and drills to ensure optimal functionality and safety
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform troubleshooting, and execute necessary repairs.
• Perform scheduled servicing and inspections according to manufacturer specifications.
• Replace parts, components, and systems as needed to maintain equipment performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure efficient workflow and minimal equipment downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
• Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations.

About You

• Mechanical/Diesel Fitting trade qualification
• Proven experience as an Excavator/Drill Fitter or similar role in the construction or mining industry
• Enthusiastic attitude & high performing work ethic
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and culture
• Current Drivers Licence
• Current Standard 11 desirable
