Description

OMO The Treasury | State Buildings, Perth CBD

Where History Meets Modern Luxury

Located in the beautifully restored Lands, Titles and Treasury buildings, the State Buildings precinct is one of Perth’s most iconic cultural destinations — home to celebrated venues including Wildflower, Post, Petition, Long Chim, Wine Merchant, Beer Corner, and more.

Within this remarkable precinct sits COMO The Treasury, a world‑renowned luxury hotel featuring 48 elegantly appointed suites and a commitment to highly personalised service. Together, we deliver exceptional dining, memorable events and curated cultural experiences unlike anywhere else in the city.

We are now seeking an exceptional Events & Reservations Coordinator to join our team.

About the Role

As the Events & Reservations Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in maximising dining and event revenue across all State Buildings venues and COMO The Treasury. You will be the first point of contact for guests, planners and partners — providing warm, polished, sales‑driven service while ensuring all administrative and reservation processes are accurate and seamless.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced luxury environment, enjoys variety, and is passionate about crafting memorable guest experiences.

This role is full time, 5 days per week Tuesday – Saturday. 12 month maternity leave contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage event and dining enquiries across all State Buildings venues and COMO The Treasury, ensuring timely, professional responses.
  • Handle reservations for rooms, dining and private dining rooms, including meet‑and‑greet responsibilities.
  • Coordinate all Events and COMO inboxes, categorising and replying within required timeframes.
  • Schedule and host site visits, prepare proposals and agreements, and record activity in Salesforce.
  • Create Event Orders and PM accounts, ensuring all event details are accurately documented.
  • Maintain precise guest profiles and event information across iVvy, SevenRooms, HubSpot and Opera PMS.
  • Support financial processes including reconciliation, payment processing, AR management, deposits, cancellations, and rate accuracy.
  • Record final event spend in iVvy and assist with reporting and monthly financial tasks.
  • Provide consistent communication to venue managers, operations teams and internal stakeholders regarding VIPs, groups and special requests.
  • Attend weekly operations meetings across the precinct.
  • Assist with gift card processing via Bepoz and WooCommerce.
  • Contribute to departmental KPIs including sales conversion, data accuracy, mystery call results and response times.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of precinct events, offerings and competitor activity.
  • Deliver warm, professional customer service to guests, clients and colleagues.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Reservations team as needed.

What You Bring

  • Strong multitasking, organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • High attention to detail and professional discretion.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and deliver results under pressure.
  • Experience with Opera PMS and SevenRooms (highly regarded).
  • Prior reservations, events or luxury hospitality experience is advantageous.
  • Unrestricted Australian working rights.

Why Join Us?

  • Work within one of Perth’s most prestigious luxury hospitality precincts.
  • Experience a collaborative culture focused on excellence and service.
  • Exposure to world‑class dining, events, and accommodation experiences.
  • Opportunities for professional growth within the COMO global hotel group.
  • Manage event and dining enquiries across all State Buildings venues and COMO The Treasury, ensuring timely, professional responses.
