The Opportunity:
Newcastle Anglican are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join their team at Mirrabooka Place - Gloucester NSW.. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing excellent care to seniors in our residential aged care homes.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic individual looking to gain further experience in a great team environment. You will have the opportunity to make every moment matter by bringing respect, compassion, integrity and enhancing the wellbeing of our residents and consumers.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a care team under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Residential Care Manager
- Administer medication under the delegation and supervision of the Registered Nurse
- Contribute to the clinical care of consumers including maintenance of clinical records.
About you?
- Diploma in Nursing or Certificate IV in Aged Care
- Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) or willing to obtain
- An ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to accurately document residents care/progress
