The Engineering Systems Coordinator (TRAX) sits within the Airworthiness and Engineering environment and is responsible for ensuring the TRAX Maintenance Information System effectively supports Part 42 (CAMO) and Part 145 (AMO) maintenance operations.

This role requires a strong understanding of engineering processes, maintenance planning, and airworthiness data, and how these translate into system integrity and business performance.

You will work closely with Engineering, Maintenance Planning, and Airworthiness teams to ensure the system accurately reflects aircraft configuration, maintenance requirements, and compliance obligations. You’ll also coordinate system changes, upgrades, and improvements, ensuring they align with operational needs and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities or duties

  • Support the day-to-day business performance and optimisation of TRAX in line with engineering and airworthiness requirements
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of aircraft maintenance data, configurations, and records
  • Act as the key interface between engineering teams (CAMO/AMO), IT, and external vendors
  • Investigate and resolve system and data issues impacting maintenance delivery and compliance
  • Coordinate system upgrades, releases, and service packs with a focus on operational impact
  • Work with engineering stakeholders to improve business processes, system utilisation, and reporting outputs
  • Develop insights and reporting (e.g. Power BI) to support maintenance and airworthiness decision-making
  • Identify opportunities to enhance how TRAX supports engineering processes and business outcomes

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

  • Understanding of AMO (Part 145) and/or CAMO (Part 42) environments
  • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance processes, planning, and airworthiness requirements
  • Exposure to TRAX or a similar Maintenance Information System (MIS)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly across data and process integrity
  • Experience working with engineering and operational stakeholders in a safety-critical environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical/system concepts into operational impact
  • A continuous improvement mindset focused on enhancing efficiency, compliance, and performance
