What will you be doing?
As our Employer Engagement Consultant, you will work across multiple sites to build and maintain strong relationships with local employers across various industries, establishing partnerships that lead to meaningful employment opportunities.
Responsibilities and duties in this role will include:
- Identify and secure youth specific opportunities with local employers
- Collaborate with our employment mentors to match participants to roles
- Support both employers and candidates to ensure sustainable employment is achieved.
Who are you?
Skills and experience we are looking for include:
- Experience within Employment Services will be highly regarded, but not essential
- Familiarity with the local employment market and industry will be highly advantageous
- Adaptability and resilience with the capability to work independently
- Results-focused and driven with a commitment to making a difference
- Hold a current driver’s licence and own car, and able to travel across the Inner and South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.
You must be able to balance empathy, dignity, and respect in your daily work with a drive to ensure we achieve positive business outcomes.
A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements prior to commencement of employment. Successful candidates must set up a myGovID in order to access Government data aligned to role.
