At Green Leaves Early Learning, our unique National Learning, Research, and Development Program (NLRDP) is at the heart of our commitment to supporting our teams' professional development. When you join the Green Leaves team, you have access to an extensive list of support services and opportunities created and designed in collaboration with our Educators from across the group.

Responsibilities or duties

Each day, you will be provided with learning and development opportunities, including:

  • Face-to-face and online mentoring with our NLRDP Research Partner (Dr Karen Grubb)
  • Monthly Educational Leader ‘Think Tank’ meetings with your colleagues across Australia
  • Access to the NLRDP Perspective Partners in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge, Cultural Pedagogy, Nutrition, Wellbeing, Inclusion, Sustainability, The Arts, and Documentation
  • Access to unlimited information and resources via our new NLRDP Communication and Resource platform on ‘PADLET’
  • Access to the Creative Collection Arts and Materials with Children training program (delivered by Kelly Goodsir and Kirsty Liljegren)
  • Access to the ‘Learning Leaves’ Documentation training delivered by our Pedagogy Partner
  • On-call and online access to our Inclusion Mentoring Team, led by Robyn Papworth
  • The opportunity to apply for and participate in our exclusive Annual New Zealand Study Tour
  • Access to our Green Leaves Learning Tree Scholarship fund, which allows you to attend professional learning and networking across Australia.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Ideally, we’d love for you to hold:

  • Proven masterful mentoring skills
  • An ACECQA-approved Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care qualification, or higher
  • A current and State-relevant Working with Children's Check
  • Current Child Protection Training (or willingness to obtain upon commencement)
  • Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates (or willingness to obtain)
  • National Police Clearance obtained in the last 6 months (or willingness to obtain)
  • National Child Safety Training (or willing to obtain)
