The role:

Our Early Childhood Teachers are responsible for designing and implementing developmentally appropriate education for our children and taking into consideration each individual child's needs. By incorporating the Early Years Framework in the program and working together with the team to share best practice, our ECT's record encompassing outcomes, practices and principles, and also ensure school readiness for appropriate ages groups.

Your experience, attributes and qualifications will include:

You hold a current teaching qualification including a current Teachers Registration (TRBWA)

You have a minimum of two years' experience working in childcare. You have an understanding that as an ECT you will also be required to contribute to the centre's daily routines, supervision etc.

You have an understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

You value “leading by example" and keep it simple, down-to-earth

Helping others is part of who you are - you have integrity, and this is demonstrated in your actions and communication with co-workers and families

Working in childcare can be mentally and physically demanding - you have an ability to calmly and confidently deal with multiple priorities, and if you are ever uncertain, you ask for guidance by your Centre Manager. We are a team and support each other

Hold a current WWC and other relevant qualifications
